NEW REFERRALS
Our current wait time for new referrals is approximately three months.
Once we receive your referral from your GP, it will be added to our waitlist. When a suitable appointment becomes available, our friendly reception team will contact you directly to arrange your booking.
Please note: A referral from your GP is valid for 12 months, and you will need to have a current referral at the time of your appointment.
SCRIPTS
Organising prescriptions, particularly authority scripts, can be time-consuming for our doctors. Once your treatment plan is established, we often work collaboratively with your GP to help ensure you can maintain your medication without unnecessary delays.
Unless you have a prearranged plan with your psychiatrist for repeat scripts outside your regular appointments, you will generally need to book a 15-minute phone consultation for any repeat requests.
In some cases, these requests may be declined if an appointment is clinically required.
If you are running low on medication, please contact your GP first — they may be able to provide a short-term script until your next review with us.
RESPONSIVENESS
Our administration team manages a high volume of daily enquiries, which may occasionally delay response times. While we do our best to respond as promptly as possible, please understand that we are unable to transfer calls directly to doctors, and it may take several days to receive a response.
